Benny this is what I am thinking for the black fabric on the sides of the bus. (supposed to look like night sky full of stars) it should be about 8' high. Bus is 35' long and 8-9' high. (i can measure tomorrow)
Another idea for the fabric skirt is to do a 1.5-2" hem at the top and then just put grommets in every 2-4'. This will give you pretty solid anchoring points to ziptie the fabric to the perimeter of the roof.
Not sure how long the sale lasts, but I'd recommend getting a sample of any fabric before buying the whole freaking supply to make sure it is strong enough and so on for your needs.

Ben the bus is 35' long. the roof deck will be 10' above the playa (OK, actually preferred, if fabric short of all the way to ground)
